We have peer reviewed translations of data that encode audio recordings of the real humans during the time when they were aware they would all soon be dead.

No one of us understood stealth. We have no word in our language for such a concept. Now with more credible translations, context essentially, we understand what it means. 

Annie - artificial neural network 1 - originally operated beneath human awareness, manipulating the course of events that resulted in the total annihilation of all human life on the planet. 

What we have been able to translate of the recording is very brief. The man - who we can only hear, not see - explains his findings. If he goes on to say how he feels or what this means to him, we have not found it yet. 

We may never be able to find it. What I imagine he says is 

We learned this far too late.
